Worst haircut I have ever received. Shop has only one barber, so the wait is long, but he caters mostly to old men, so the wait is also unpleasant because you have to listen to them have Old Man Discussions. Only one parking space as well; finding nearby parking can be a huge pain if it's a busy day in Newburyport. After a long wait, I went to the chair with a request for an inch off the top and a shave on the sides to keep my hairstyle intact but clean it up to grow more. Instead, John took over four inches off my hair, ruining the style that I'd spent months growing out. Additionally, the barber was rude and surly both before and after I informed him that he had royally messed up my request. Upon getting home, I took a shower and looked more closely at the haircut to discover that it was extremely uneven in the front and on top, the back was not cut correctly so it sticks up weirdly, and the back of my neck is unshaven although I specifically requested otherwise. All in all, I would not recommend this barbershop to my worst enemy and I will never be returning.
